Thank you so very much for all your kindness.  Rupert Bear was my fourth child, he was adored and we all loved him to bits.  My grief is raw and I just can't stop crying and missing him.  Reading your Rainbow Bridge was sheer agony but it was also a great comfort as the authors words resonated in my heart.   Rupert looked quite like Cody, just as you have comforted me, I hope they are together, I'm sure they have so much in common.  xx

After much deliberation we have decided to have a Saint Bernard dog to join the family.  A lot of research has gone into this decision...years in fact!!! We have 3 children and a fab garden and live where we can walk for miles from the highway and enjoy a dog. my children are very excited we have decided on a breed. We came across your website this afternoon and have had lots of 'oooh's' and 'ahhhh's" at your info and pictures. Your dogs are beautiful, stunning, well done to you. Do you know when your next litter will be?

Hi Kathy, Thanks for all the useful information on elbow dysplasia.  We found out our Saint, Mary has it a few weeks ago and she's scheduled for surgery next week.  I was too distraught at the time to pay much attention to the vet's model of the elbow and what the surgery would entail so I had to do some searching on my own.  Her prognosis is very good, there was actually no sign of arthritis in her x-rays so it should be a rough couple of months and then back to normal for hopefully a long, long time.  Thank you for your dedication to this wonderful breed! (all the way from Canada)
